Just finished another wedding shoot today. Yep, yet ANOTHER wedding. And guess what? It was at the same hotel location I did 2 nites ago. Haha… Was this place that popular? I really wonder. But the ambience was really goot! Very spacious, even after u placed 60 tables in the ballroom. Very amazing. I wasn’t exactly the main photographer today. In fact, I was just the secondary photographer. Basically, I was capturing those emotion shots. Facial expressions of the guests and the crowd. It was thoughtful of the couple to think of such details. Usually when u look at any actual day albums, u will probably see most of the couple’s pics and mainly of the bride’s. But I was tasked to shoot more of the groom and the crowd today. Something different? I think its a brilliant idea. Got another shoot this friday. Sigh~ Tired… But I am still looking forward to it. =) Can see “stars”! =D “Twinkle twinkle little stars…”

Meeting new friends

Its always nice to meet someone new and befriend him/her. Just look at Casper. Haha!! He’s always the friendly one. I think he takes after his owner. Hehe… Oh well, what’s wrong being nice and friendly to people? Hang on!! Have we been here before?! Haha… Ok ok… Skip skip… But I jus wanna warn the friendly people out there. Its not as nice as it seems when u look at the people in front of u. They may be the nicest and prettiest girl or hunky and handsome guy, but if they do not have the personality to go with the looks, what’s the bloody point?! Iwas told my a friend that she had a friend who was good looking, but his personality? Sux BIG TIME!! So it may not be bad afterall to look normal. Jus remember to “act” cool if you are not cool by nature. Haha!!

It was a hectic day today! Lots of time line to meet at work. 1 project down! A couple more to go!! Let’s just take things as it comes, Tommy. Dun stress yourself too much… But sometimes I do dread that day. Who likes to be feeling “sucky” and “sourish”. But what I dislike most is “talking” and “stabbing” behind my back. If you dun like me, let me know straight in my face. I will accept it. But I will really HATE it if anyone tried to talk behind my back. Be a man!! Come forth and declare war! Don’t be like what the terrorists are doing, hiding and sabotaging. That’s what I detest most!! And please, signal ur intentions when u need to turn or filter on the roads, especially on the highway.

I’m still wondering why hasn’t any dog talent looked up Casper? He’s such a gem! I am sure all those who have met Casper will agree that he’s a very photogenic and expressive little fella. Well, let’s just hope he can get famous. Haha… Will I get a “cut” out of his fees? Perhaps… (Dream on, Tommy. Dream on….)

Had one of my worst days today. Well, I was not exactly being lectured. But its more like a very stern warning… Kinda getting sick n tired about all those superficial people around me. Sometimes I have to look REALLY hard to see if these people are true or just fakes. Its like how China and Thailand can make fake LV or Gucci bags. Can u really tell without feeling and touching the bags that which is real?? Not many people can differentiate the difference jus by looking. SIGH~~ So its always good to get to know these people alittle better first. Hmm.. not like I just got to know them, but somehow or rather, they all seems fake to me. I’ve been around this place far too long. Time to move on to somewhere else. I’ve done too much too many times. Its time to pass the baton. And I am looking forward to it, actually….

8th Singapore Motorshow 2006

And so it comes to an end… The 8th Singapore Motorshow was held from 10 – 19 November 2006, at the Suntec Convention Centre. I was rather disappointed Mitsubishi didn’t participate. Was hoping to catch a glimpse of the latest coupe from Mitsubishi, the Colt CZC. Oh well, I just got my new car, so it doesn’t really matter if the CZC was at the motorshow. Haha…

Met alot of familiar faces at the show, from friends, to colleagues, to distant relatives, to pretty models, etc. I had a wonderful weekend. Not that I slept alot, but it was still wonderful. So now that the dust has settled from the screeching tyres of the SUBARUs at the motorshow, wat’s next? More model shoots? Hmm… Time to move on… Move on to higher callings… Hahah!! Time to head back to work ah!!! :p

Moo Mini Cards

I’ve just gotten my Moo Mini Cards! I’m impressed! Very impressed, in fact! Its not some conventional 80gsm paper or cards, but according to one designer friend, its at least 210gsm. That’s really good quality card. The print out was awesome too! Well, for US$19.90 (S$40), you get 100 photo calling cards. That’s roughly 40 cents a piece. I think I’m gonna switch to these as my name cards!! =) Came across this verse somewhere… Just thought I share… :p

Just gotten back from the 2-Day course and was given a quote… “Don’t live life to regret it later, when you could’ve done what you should have done in the first place.” Treasure the moment…. Every moment… I am doing that now, right now… Cos I dunno when that moment will choose to cease. Sad, but true… Sometimes reality will hit on us once in awhile… Its like a football match. When you go in for the 2-legged tackle, u risked being sent-off. But sometimes, you jus haf to do it. Well, just see wat the Ref wanna issue you, either yellow, or red….

Its my birthday today. And guessed what? I’ve to go to work. Sigh… What a birthday?! And best part was when I went to the office, the pple dunno its my birthday. Haha… Anyway, they’re not obligated to know anyway. And i was running around the island once again. From office to changi, just to get a picture. But i think it was a good trip out today.

So what did I do on my birthday? Well… No celebration for me. By the time you reach my age, you probably also wun wanna celebrate also. But it was nice… Jus feels good on ones’s birthday. I actually reflected on my past 33 years. (Oops… jus disclosed my age)

Just got my planner’s draft yesterday. Looks great! Now its up to the bosses to comments and do some amendments (hopefully minor ones). Just pray there are no “major surgery” to the draft, then all will be on schedule. This is my 4th time doing the planner, and pobably my last time too. Its about time I get posted out of my present workplace. Working in a place for too long is not very good. One have to progress and move up the “ladder”.

Tmr’s gonna be fun! Gonna meet losta familiar faces and its time to catch up. Having good memories is always wonderful. I will wanna keep all my wonderful memories and housed them properly. Hmm.. Time to keep fit liao… Time to start running… Its been quite awhile liao. And I think its time i get my butt off my chair and start running. Starting from tmr evening! I shall run after my course ends. Do a 3km or so, just to warm up my routine. I’ve been too lazy liao. Time to change, for the better.

Its finally over

Yep. It has finally come to an end. I’m talking about the Subaru Challenge 2006. After 73 hours and 56 minutes, the curtains finally came down this afternoon. The winner, a 25 year-old Navy chap. Congrats to Mr Alex Koh for surviving the ordeal. And to the 1st runner-up, Mr Johnny Chua, great spirit! U may be 2nd place, but I’m sure haf won legions of fans out there. Still $7,000/= is good money. Should I do it next year? Hmm….

Its clearer now

 It feels kinda good to see clearly now. Actually its just clearer. The PSI has gone down (and so is my vision now). Its bad when you are in a mist. U lose your sense of directions. U dunno where u r heading. U are simply LOST. So once you walked out of that mist, everything seems clearer. Sometimes it may not exactly be what you wanna see once you get out of that mist, but then again, its clearer. I think I just walked out of the mist, but got lost somewhere and end up on the edge of a cliff. One wrong step, surely mati* (*dead in malay).  Anyway, i didn’t take that step. I dunno if I should just leap over to the next boulder? But what if I tripped? Then also mati. Wahaha… So I guess I will just thread on the edge for awhile more b4 I get around the mist. Or should I go back into the mist and find another exit? But is there ANOTHER exit in the first place?! Sekali* (*what if in malay) go into the mist, got trapped and suffocate how?! There’s this saying in mandarin ,”The bridge will be levelled once the boat arrives at the dock.” Chim* right?! (*Profound in hokkien) So just let the current flows… Wherever the water flows, it will end up in the open sea… When the rain ends, the rainbow will appear… Every wrong step you take, you will learn… The world is round… What goes around, comes around… “Dot dot dot dot”

Injudicious

The above-mentioned word also means stupid, dull, unintelligent, brainless, obtuse and dim-witted. It can also mean unwise, foolish, daft, ill-advised, ludicrous (and the list goes on actually). Pretty negative eh? That’s exactly how I am feeling right now. What’s between right and wrong is a thin line. Agree? But sometimes, cannot find the line. That becomes the problem too. That’s why in microsoft word, lines got different thickness. Some thin (1pt), some thick (5pt). And you use them for different reasons also. Different styles, different formats, etc. Actually alot of times, its better to just keep my bloody mouth shut. =X diam diam nothing will happend lor…. =( Why huh? Why? I oso dunno…. I really dunno…. Its like looking at Mona Lisa. U move left or right, her eyes will follow u and always smile. U dunno wat is she smiling at? U dunno wat she is thinking? Jus smile…
